We picked up a couple hitch hikers yesterday afternoon in Eureka, CA, who decided to ride with us until we found a place to camp. We camped in a nice little camp ground and headed north again this morning, where we dropped the hitchers off (after some sweet morning hikes through the red woods of course). After we dropped them off we quickly found the sweetest watering hole where we could cliff jump and rope swing. The best part about road trips are the sweet little parts of nature that are free99! Lovin it.

I really like this new excerpt. Sounds like it life continues to be a rough one for you boys. Glad you are having fun! Come home soon though... :)
I saw you guys at 2nd Bridge, jumping off the rope swing..my two kids, husband and I were on the beach below and one of you guys talked to us for a minute about the swing. I would love to travel all over in a bus! I bet you guys are having a blast! Have fun and good luck!
Well, I had the good fortune of having the "Cool Bus" and it's "Cool" occupants at my wilderness paradise from the evening of Monday, Aug. 17th through the afternoon of Tuesday, Aug. 18th. I found them to be a very "uplifting" group of young men! Just ask Brock about how "uplifting" they were! On Monday evening, we had an illegal cook-out of hot dogs, mac. salad, roasted squash, fresh homemade applesauce, fresh cherries, green tea and great company around the fire as we jammed and took in the incredible starscape above us. Tuesday, we were off to a secret waterfall swimming hole that even penguins avoid! Seriously! I've never seen one there! Must be toooo cold for them!!! but not for the "courageous four!" Hopefully, they'll post their own comments and some pics from that incredible experience. GREAT meeting you guys!!!! Safe travels and never forget O'Brien, Oregon! John - (The poetic preacher man).
Looks like you guys are having a hell of a time! Lovin the blog and pics. See you back in CO for some pow soon!
JUST WANTED TO SAY WHATS UP!!!! Hope all is well, which of course i'm not to worried it isn't:-)
luvERICA
Oregon is awesome... I went backpacking for two weeks there in college, and summitted Middle Sister Mountain - you might be able to see it from the coast. Thanks for the updates, I love them!
